Recent Grant Successes

  • Supported Youth Collaboratory in winning a competitive $1.5M federal award under the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) Office of Victims on Crime (OVC) FY2023 Preventing Trafficking of Girls Training and Technical Assistance grant program to provide nationwide technical assistance to grantees serving young people experiencing human trafficking, with a focus on Black youth. 

  • Supported the innovative Influencers4Justice project fiscally sponsored by ValorUS - which leverages the connections and resources within communities of color across California to embed a violence prevention ethos - in securing a $400,000 renewal award from the Blue Shield of California Foundation through the end of 2025.

  • Used our wealth of experience applying for grants from the California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (CalOES) to craft a winning $250,000 proposal for the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus to retrofit the Chan National Queer Arts Center with improved safety features, including security cameras and personnel.  

  • Supported Centro Legal de la Raza and their nonprofit community partners in joint advocacy and fundraising efforts, resulting in Alameda County’s investment in rapid response legal services for immigrant families and communities.
